SimIS Awarded DHS Customs and Border Protection Contract for T&E and M&S

Portsmouth, Virginia, March 2014 — SimIS Inc., led by Dr. Johnny Garcia, has been awarded a contract from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to perform operational testing and evaluation on a Remote Video Surveillance System. Performing with Alion Science and Technology Corporation, the 12-month contract will help assure that the Remote Video Surveillance System is suitable and effective for use by United States Border Patrol agents.
